What a fun time I had drawing at the Met. I wandered amongst the sculptures, from African wood to Italian ceramic. Light, shadow, form! Each took about 25 minutes. I am always amazed that only 20 minutes in to drawing something do really begin to see it! That's what is so useful about drawing: it is really about seeing.
